History:
Source of Life/Fuente de Vida Church (SOL/FDV) was founded by Benjamin and Cindy Cooper in 2018, after having served as associate pastors for the Hispanic Bilingual Ministry of National Church of God in Fort Washington, MD, since 2012. SOL/FDV was moved to Laurel, MD in 2022 to reach the Harvest of peoples in the four Maryland counties that make-up the Laurel, Maryland area.

Mission:
Make Disciples LOCALLY to spread the Gospel GLOBALLY

SOL/FDV is a Christian Church whose mission is to reach families and individuals of all races and national origins with the purpose of making disciples of Christ who learn to worship God in spirit and in truth. Located in Laurel, which is a midpoint of the Capital Region’s two largest metropolitan areas, SOL/FDV’s purpose is to meet the spiritual needs of people in the local areas between Washington D.C. and Baltimore with purposeful outreach, focused teachings, and preaching based on sound Biblical doctrine and the power of Pentecost.

Vision:
To be a church where the hungry, thirsty, lost, and dying will find Jesus Christ and the life giving water He provides; and be a training center for those called to work the harvest.
